Rob Porter Rob Porter is a self-taught drummer and staple of the Ottawa music scene. In addition to the bands listed, Rob was a founding member of celtic rock band Jimmy George with whom he played for two years, and also played briefly in a combo known as Chuckwagon with Jim Bryson on guitar and vocals and Shane Ward on bass. (Instrumental surf guitar band featuring Rob, Paul Hogan, Pat Lawlor, Mark McGreevy) • Remi Royale et les Tonnes de Fromage (A lounge/disco cover act featuring Remi Royale - Josh Grace - on vocals, Mickey Vallee on keyboards and accordion, Joel Carlson and later Dan Dannenberg • Pigout (Jim Bryson vox/git, Duncan MacGregor vox/bass, Mark McGreevy git, Rob drums) • Dr. Shiney Forehead (Guitar rock outfit featuring Duncan MacGregor guitar & vocals), Joel Carlson (bass & vocals) and Rob. Paul Hogan also joined later on guitar and vocals. ) • The Whirleygigs also known as the Targets (Al Mortimer vox/git, Jeff Kainz/Pat Lawlor git/vox, Joel Carlson bass/vox, Rob drums/vox.
