Complete list of our TV placements to date
You probably won't get rich and famous placing music in TV shows, especially shows that air on specialty networks, but it is nice to get a fatter-than-usual royalty check now and then. Because of the current highly competitive nature of music placement, most networks will not pay an upfront licencing fee, but you will still collect royalties through your Performing RIghts Organization (SOCAN, BMI, ASCAP, etc.). It takes a lot of time and persistence to get placed, and then even more time for the royalties to make it through the various levels of accounting and bureaucracy, but it's one more income stream that artists have available.
As a publisher and promoter of the artists we deal with, Tenvolt has placed
music in over 500 American TV shows including: The Vampire Diaries (CW), Steve Harvey Show (NBC), E:60 (ESPN), FOX MLB Pregame Show (Fox), The Legend of Mick Dodge: Foot Notes (National Geographic), NASCAR Racing - Sprint Cup Series: Campingworld.com 500, Qualifying (Fox Sports), Urban Cowboy: The Rise and Fall of Gilley's (CMT), College Football (Fox Sports), Morgan Spurlock Presents Freedom! The Movie (CMT), CNN Newsroom With Fredricka Whitfield (CNN), Dog and Beth: On the Hunt (CMT), Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, WWE RAW, Dance Moms (2 episodes) (Lifetime USA / Slice Canada), Toddlers & Tiaras (2 placements), Abby's Utimate Dance Competition (Lifetime USA / Slice Canada), Auction Kings (Discovery), Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo (TLC), Pawn Stars (History), Cajun Pawn Stars, American Pickers (History), Southie Rules (A&E), UFC, WWE Presents, and many more.
If you're interested in having your music placed in TV and film, feel free to contact us. As part of our publishing agreement, we will create instrumental mixes, edits etc. of your music free of charge, if you have the original tracks. We take a cut of only the songs we place, and only in that medium, so your radio and other existing royalties are not affected.
Contact us to discuss your publishing.
